Obituary

Stephen “Tony” A. Fouse, of Bradenton, Florida, was born on September 26, 1946, in Winchester, Indiana, and passed away on November 8, 2025, after a short illness.

Tony was a U.S. Army veteran during the Vietnam Era, serving 6 years. He spent his professional career working as a firefighter, retiring from the Cedar Hammock Fire Department in Manatee County. He was married to his wife, Gayle, for 32 years; she preceded him in death 17 days earlier.

He is survived by his daughter, Dawn Fouse-Page, and her husband, Larry Page; his sister, Vickie Page, and her husband, Bill; and his grandchildren, Dean and Hailey Page, stepson Jason Woodland, and his wife, Megan, and their children.

Tony enjoyed spending time at the VFW, where he appreciated the camaraderie and connection with fellow veterans. He liked playing cards, especially when the games were competitive and full of friendly banter. He also spent many hours fishing, a hobby he returned to throughout his life for the quiet and the routine it offered. Tony will be missed by his family and friends.

Service information will be announced at a later date.
