Michael “Mike” John Eymann, 78, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 18, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.
Mike was born on December 12, 1947, in Reedley, California, to the late Robert and June Eymann. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War as an engine mechanic aboard a diesel submarine. While stationed in Hawaii, he met and married the love of his life, Sharon Eymann, who preceded him in death in 2021. They shared more than 50 years of marriage together.
Mike made friends easily, and everyone was always welcome in his home. His two greatest passions were fishing and creating art in its many forms. He retired as the Mechanical Maintenance Manager for Santa Cruz County, California, and following his retirement, he relocated to Bradenton, Florida.
Mike is survived by his two sons, Denis (Kelsey) Eymann of Dunedin, Florida, and Daniel (Regan) Eymann of Scotts Valley, California; five grandchildren, Tyler, Dylan, August, Elijah, and Liliana; and his sisters, Kristi (Ken) McNeal and Sandy (Bob) Joyner, both of Lolo, Montana.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at St. Peter and Paul the Apostles Catholic Church in Bradenton, Florida. A celebration of Mike’s life will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the Bradenton Elks Lodge.
