Maria De Los Angeles Ruiz leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love through her beloved mother, Carmen J. Rivera; Her brother, Luis Rolon; and her nine children: Viviana Jimenez, Maria K. Caquias, Carmen L. Caquias, Edwin Ruiz, Louis A. Soto, Nairobys Toledo, Sandra E. Ruiz, Januel  A. Ruiz, Damarias Avila. 31 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Her love, laughter, and beautiful spirit will forever live on in the hearts of her family. Though she may no longer be with us physically, the memories she created, the joy she brought, and the love she shared will continue to live on through the generations she leaves behind.

Today we stand with broken hearts, 

with tears we cannot hide,

For someone who brought so much life

Has left our world behind.

You were a woman full of laughter,

Of music, love, and fun

The kind who made the ordinary

Feel special to everyone.

You loved to dance, you loved to laugh,

You never needed much,

a cheese Grater, fork, and pots to play,

With a cooking spoon to keep the touch!

You'd turn our kitchen into a stage,

With music all your own

And fill our hearts with laughter

like no tune we've ever known.

You were our mother, our laughter

Our memories, our song,

The heart that held us all together,

The place where we belonged.

And now you've left us standing here,

 An army gathered in your name,

Each carrying a piece of you,

Each living you the same.

An army here to say goodbye,

though goodbye is hard to do,

for no matter where our lives may lead,

A part of us is always you.
