Dec. 9, 1939 – June 27, 2027

Larry W. Nahm, 86, of Englewood, Florida, passed away June 27, 2026, after a short stay in Sarasota Doctors Hospital, Sarasota, Florida.

Larry was the son of the late Wilbert (Bill) and Voris (Cooley) Nahm. He was a graduate of Fremont Ross High School. Larry married Melva Coyle on November 15, 1997, in Englewood, Florida.

Larry graduated from Fremont Ross High School and Terra Community College with an Engineering Degree.

Larry worked 22 years for Crown Rubber Company, Fremont, Ohio, as Plant Engineer.

Larry moved to Englewood, Florida, in 1986 and retired at the age of 76.

Larry loved all things about racing, especially NASCAR. He pursued some years of racing hobby stocks in the 60’s at Fremont Speedway, Fremont, Ohio. His #1 fan was his dad, Bill.

Larry enjoyed riding his snowmobiles and motorcycles over the years.

Larry’s biggest hobby and passion was woodworking, gifting his children, family, and friends many beautiful items throughout his lifetime. Pieces that will be treasured for a lifetime by all.

Larry is survived by his wife, Melva, and children Debbie (Brad) Lawrence, Randy (Lynne Omey) Nahm, and Lori Nahm, all of Fremont, Ohio.

Grandchildren, Tiffany (Ralph) Consolo, Tyler (Erin) Lawrence, Justin (Nikki) Nahm, Jamie ( John Thiel) Chancellor, Jay Warren, Nick (Mariah) Parish. 14 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great, Great Grandchildren, and 2 on the way.

Sisters, Nancy Mills, Fremont, Indiana, Trisha Burton, Bowling Green, Ohio, sister-in-law, Jeanne Nahm, Toledo, Ohio, mother of his 3 children, Faye (Mezinger-Nahm) Maag, Fremont, Ohio.

Many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Danny Nahm, and brother-in-law Gene Mills.

Larry’s wishes were to have no services.

Larry’s family will have a private gathering at a later date to celebrate his life.

Memorials can be made in Larry’s name to the American Heart Association.
