Addie Lafai Matthews, age 85, of Sarasota, Florida. Passed away on July 2, 2026. She was born on November 6, 1940, in Live Oak, Florida, to Joseph and Dorothy Parrish.

Faye will be remembered for her warmth, quiet strength, and devotion to her family. She is survived by her children: Marsha (Gator), Holly (Steve), and Joey (Stephanie). Faye had 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren and many friends. She was predeceased in death by her husband Marvin and son Ricky.

A memorial service will be held at New Wine Worship Center, 4090 Tallevast Rd, Sarasota, FL 34243. Visitation will be at 11:00 AM, and the service will be at 12:00 Noon

A graveside service will take place for the immediate family.
